Through a series of sculptures and films, June Balthazard and Pierre Pauze weave a tale between reality and science fiction, in which an enigmatic natural phenomenon has plunged humanity into an endless night. The story revolves around a substance known as Ether, which has served as the backdrop to many creation myths before finding an echo in recent discoveries in quantum physics. This primordial matter is described as the fabric of the universe, linking human beings to the rest of the living world. Against a backdrop of ecological upheaval, three characters set off in search of this signal: a physicist from the CERN laboratory, a reclusive hermit in a Morvan forest and an alchemist living in a Templar castle. Placing art, science and mythology in dialogue, Demain si le jour se l\u00e8ve<\/em> focuses on \u201cwhat holds the world together\u201d. Between inner and global crises, the plunge into darkness also takes on a more symbolic meaning, following the quest for light, meaning and truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
