This participatory exhibition by the collective \u201cLes Nouveaux Collectionneurs\u201d explores the concept of Resistance and features works from the Port de Bouc collection, loaned works, and the results of Olivier B\u00e9mer\u2019s artist residency. Resistance is an essential element in all struggles against dictates and injustices\u2014the obstacles erected in the path of human, social, and even societal progress. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Olivier B\u00e9mer\u2019s film and sculpture installation project draws on the tradition of \u201cworker wigs,\u201d echoing the industrial context of Port de Bouc. In the workshops and factories of the 20th century, \u201cperruquer\u201d involved diverting time away from work and secretly taking materials to craft personal items on the sly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From October 19 to 22, a children\u2019s workshop will be offered with artist Jos\u00e9phine Javier on the theme of the resilience of living things, featuring an introduction to thermal imaging and the creation of paintings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
