A text projected onto a city wall speaks out and captures the attention of an audience gathered in a square. It stares them down, tells stories, cracks jokes, spurs them to action, and creates a shared space that is both critical and joyful.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Speaker Corner<\/em> is a performance that reimagines how we come together in public spaces. As a group, the audience is invited to view their surroundings in new ways. <em>Speaker Corner<\/em> captures the present moment in public space and sparks reflections, emotions, and actions to create a direct connection with those who experience it. <em>Speaker Corner<\/em> emerges from what is happening around it and transforms the space into a collective area to be shared (and defended). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Speaker Corner<\/em> invites everyone to participate, freely and in their own way, in this truly spectacular moment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignwide size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/chroniques-biennale.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/LumenTexte&#xA9;meliciaBaussan-1024x717.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-31742\"\/><\/figure>\n<div class=\"listOfArtistes\"><div class=\"artisteInList alignwide \">\n    \n\n\n   \n\n    \n    <div class=\"artisteBlock\">\n    <div class=\"artisteBlockLeft\">\n        <div class=\"postThumbnailWrapper\">\n            \n                    <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n    <div class=\"artisteBlockRight postInfos\">\n        \n        <h2 class=\"postTitle\">Impatience Collective<\/h2>\n        <div class=\"artistContactLine\"><\/div>\n\n        \n        \n        <div class=\"artisteContent\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Collectif Impatience (75) places research and the relationship with the individual\u2014the audience member\u2014at the center of its creations.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cIn light of global developments, we are taking an exploratory approach. We create forms that shift the viewer\u2019s gaze, that transform the way a performance is experienced and the way one becomes a spectator. We are implementing a \u201cdramaturgy of address.\u201d  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our works and performances are conceived as interactive mediums with the audience: visual and\/or participatory installations, theater without actors, audience-centered staging, and performances in which we ourselves take part&#8230;  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The encounter can serve as the starting point for a performance such as <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">B\u00e2ton<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  which invites someone from outside the theater world to be at the center of the process. But our research on \u201cthe audience\u201d can turn into an obsession, as in  <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lumen Text<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  to the point where there are no more interpreters. The concept of \u201cassembly\u201d underpins the very principle of the  <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">TTension Conference<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. We develop performances, gallery installations, laboratories, game and discussion protocols, sound installations, and site-specific works in non-traditional venues. Our research is informed by protocols that encourage confrontation, intertwining, and hybridization.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The connection to the visual arts is emphasized. We are just as interested in the method and the creative process as we are in the final format.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Research Project <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What Can the Night Do?<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, supported by the Ministry of Culture\u2019s research division, brought together researchers, artists, and children to explore, in the space of the night, participatory formats tailored to children. As a result of this research, a work of the same name was created in December 2025.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Collectif Impatience has been under contract with the DRAC \u00cele-de-France since 2025; it regularly receives project funding for its productions from the DRAC \u00cele-de-France, the \u00cele-de-France region, Dicr\u00e9am, and Spedidam\u2026 Its productions have been staged at venues including the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de Vanves (92), the T.U.
