The PowerPlant is an immersive, interactive experience (VR and projection) set on an imaginary tropical island. It invites us to explore a futuristic power plant that <\/p>\n\n\n\n

works thanks to genetically modified plants\u2026 until they start to rebel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Composed of hand-painted watercolors that are then rendered in real-time 3D, the project showcases a vibrant aesthetic that blends lush natural landscapes with futuristic industrial architecture. We journey through an unstable ecosystem where technology seems alive, and where living organisms subvert what was meant to control them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a style that is by turns contemplative, playful, and humorous, to what extent can we transform the natural world, and what does the hybridization of artificial intelligence and living organisms produce?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

J\u00e9r\u00e9my Griffaud<\/h2>\n
<\/div>\n\n \n \n

J\u00e9r\u00e9my Griffaud is an artist who explores the role of the viewer in hybrid realities through installations that blend the virtual and the real. Using digitized watercolors, video game engines, virtual reality headsets, and large-scale projections, he creates immersive and interactive environments. Thus, in his installations *Enlarge Yourself* and *The Garden*, the visitor becomes a performer, and the activation of the work depends on the visitor\u2019s involvement. In *The Origin of Things*, visitors find themselves immersed in a psychedelic science-fiction universe that explores humanity\u2019s relationship with nature. J\u00e9r\u00e9my holds a DNSEP with a concentration in art (Master\u2019s degree), which he earned in 2017 at the Pavillon Bosio, the City of Monaco\u2019s School of Fine Arts. The public has been able to experience his works at numerous art venues, such as the Marc Chagall National Museum in Nice for a solo exhibition, the Panac\u00e9e in Montpellier, the Ga\u00eet\u00e9 Lyrique in Paris, and the Shenzhen Museum of Art. Some of his artist residencies have taken him to Norway, Poland, China, Japan, and Malaysia. In 2023, he was awarded a residency at the Villa Medici through the XR Farnese program.
