is presented in co-production with CHRONIQUES.  <br\/>The exhibition (D\u00e9)Jouer les mondes is produced by Le Grenier \u00e0 sel.  <br\/>Curated by: Isabelle Arvers and V\u00e9ronique Baton, with assistance from Zo\u00e9 Neyreneuf<\/p>\n<\/details>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SILA is a poetic, immersive work that blends documentary and fiction: a Greenlandic experience that offers a counterpoint to the masculine, heroic imagery of polar expeditions.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Agn\u00e8s de Cayeux and her collaborators invite us to journey through real and virtual polar worlds, following in the footsteps of women artists, scientists, and activists who have explored this exceptional Arctic region from the 19th century to the present day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In <em>Kalaallisut, <\/em>Greenland&#8217;s official <em>language <\/em>, the word &#8220;sila&#8221; Through a series of interactive installations, independent games, sculptures made from discarded electronic devices, and transmedia narratives, the exhibition questions the rules, interfaces, and virtual spaces to reveal what they say about some of our contemporary representations, such as power relations, digital extractivism, colonial narratives, and alternative imaginaries. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-white-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-white-background-color has-background is-style-wide\"\/>\n<div class=\"listOfArtistes\"><div class=\"artisteInList alignwide \">\n    \n\n\n   \n\n    \n    <div class=\"artisteBlock\">\n    <div class=\"artisteBlockLeft\">\n        <div class=\"postThumbnailWrapper\">\n            \n                    <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n    <div class=\"artisteBlockRight postInfos\">\n        \n        <h2 class=\"postTitle\">Agn\u00e8s de Cayeux<\/h2>\n        <div class=\"artistContactLine\"><\/div>\n\n        \n        \n        <div class=\"artisteContent\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Agn\u00e8s de Cayeux sometimes compulsively observes our online world. Just like the rest of us. From the Virginia Tech massacre to the Cyborgiennes, she crafts texts from afar:    <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In my room<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, literary rooms produced by Arte and superimposed onto fragments of women\u2019s bodies filmed by the women themselves\u2014 <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Alissa<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a programmed AI creature, a literary figure developed for the Jeu de Paume\u2014 <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Case of the Hippocampus<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, an immersive and literary work created for the Venice Music Biennale. D <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Since 2010, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Agn\u00e8s de Cayeux <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">has been exploring <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in situ<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  Arctic issues: archival matters, family legacies linked to the French polar expeditions of the 1950s, and eco-technological, postcolonial, and feminist issues. She was in residence in Greenland in 2011 as part of a Villa M\u00e9dicis Hors les Murs program, and was subsequently supported by the CNAP in 2015. Her Arctic installations have been featured at the Centre Pompidou (2017), the Centre d\u2019art La Panac\u00e9e in Montpellier (2015), and most recently at the SIANA Biennale in Paris-Saclay (2025).
