Digital Camouflage<\/em> is a garment designed to \u201cfool\u201d artificial intelligence systems that use computer vision to detect people. At first glance, it looks like a garment adorned with an abstract pattern, but it is actually a textile pattern specially created to confuse the object recognition algorithms used in surveillance, security, or autonomous systems. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The design is inspired by what is known as an \u201cadversarial attack\u201d: a method that involves manipulating the visual data received by a machine so that it cannot correctly recognize what is in front of it. When a person wears this garment, their body becomes \u201cinvisible\u201d to the system: the algorithm is unable to detect the presence of a person. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
