The Biennale <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Created in 2018 and organized by CHRONIQUES – the Biennale des Imaginaires Num\u00e9riques is the highlight of digital arts and culture in the Southern region.
Exploring the visual arts, the sound arts and live performance, the Biennial focuses on the presence and use of digital and new technologies in art, invests the public space and gives a voice to national and international artists from different backgrounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Resistance: hacktivism, diversions and artistic tactics in the digital age<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For the past 20 years, digital technologies have permeated every aspect of our lives \u2013 from our private lives to geopolitical dynamics \u2013 with artists acting as witnesses, critical observers, and also as agents of a much-needed counter-narrative. For its 2026 edition, the Biennale des Imaginaires Num\u00e9riques<\/strong>, which takes place across Aix-en-Provence, Marseille, Arles, Avignon, Istres and Port de Bouc, sets out to examine the forms of artistic resistance<\/strong> in the face of the normative, extractivist and oppressive logics of contemporary technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
