Totems d’un monde nouveau is about the influence of technology and social networks on our experiences of pleasure. By feeding our desires with an infinite stream of personalized stimuli, recommendation algorithms shape the reality of our desires. Here, emerging artists explore the impact of technology on our daily lives. They aim to shed light on how our physical being integrates with our digital alter ego, and raise awareness of the issues at stake in our hyper-connected society.

Program imagined by halone in partnership with CHRONIQUES – Biennale des Imaginaires Numériques. Produced with the support of the Aix-Marseille Provence metropolis and the University of Aix-Marseille.
