The exhibition in the Museum’s Gothic Gallery explores our guilty pleasures (screens in Robbie Cooper, cigarettes in Gabriel Lester and sex in Simona Žemaitytė). The artists on show examine the intimate and often hidden facets of our desires, highlighting the tensions between personal satisfaction and social norms.
The exhibition invites us to reflect on the taboos and inner conflicts that shape our experiences of pleasure, and offers a provocative and poignant mirror of our most secret contradictions and aspirations.
