Every presented image corresponds to a screenshot captured during a Google Earth research.
The artist is interested in the digitalisation of the world and its aberrations, such as the anomalies caused by the automatic assembly of aerial pictures. He thus exhibits the technical flaws that Google strives to erase to offer us a smooth and homogeneous image of the world.

Clement Valla lives and works in Brooklyn. He holds a BA in Architecture from Columbia University and an MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design, where he is currently an associate professor in graphic design.
