In 2020, Imaginaires Numériques is welcoming three artists thanks to support from the Paris Centre Wallonie-Bruxelles & Wallonie-Bruxelles International: Félix Luque, Claire Williams and Joanie Lemercier.
Rather than a monument contributing to the glorification of the French-speaking Belgian culture and heritage, the Centre is a widely recognised catalyst for contemporary Belgian creation.
Through a resolutely disinhibited and transdisciplinary programme, the Centre disseminates and promotes the work of artists based in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, with a view to enhancing their notoriety in France. It publicises emerging and recognised talents – from the peripheral to the well-established.
The Centre is a decentralised branch of Wallonie-Brussels International (WBI): a tool for the international policy conducted by Wallonia, the Wallonia-Brussels Federation and the French Community Commission of the Brussels-Capital Region.
We are delighted to welcome it for the Biennial!
