In a world of mounting environmental and social crises, nature and its representation are at the heart of the Biennial. From the enclosed space of the garden, where nature is tamed and cultivated by man, as in the installation by Ellis Holman or Esther Denis, the artists invite us to contemplate the environment that surrounds us, often invisible like the Lichen by Aiste Ambrazevičiūtė or the lake beds by Emilija Škarnulytė. But above all, these works invite us to redraw its contours, to make it a place of pleasure and symbiosis between beings, and to propose a lost reconnection?
