Yassin Agrbi has developed a kinetic installation. He has created a play of light and shadow using cut-out glass pieces, which he filled with different types of water and mounted on small rotating platforms. The play of shadows is created by combinations of colored LEDs, also mounted on the platforms. Wires, tubes, LEDs, and various electronic components form the building blocks of his creations. By transforming familiar electrical components into evocative installations, Yassin invites viewers to see the extraordinary in the ordinary and to reflect on the interconnectedness of all things.
Yasin Agrbi
Yasin is a unique talent who seamlessly blends his expertise as an electrician with his passion for light art. Since 2018, he has been contributing to artistic productions, notably the INTERFERENCE Light Art Project in Tunis. In his creative practice, Yasin repurposes materials from his electrician’s workshop.
