The Structure of Voices is an installation that subverts and reconfigures the traditional uses of the voice and urban space. By amplifying and manipulating vocal fragments, this project offers a poetic subversion of service voices: a gentle yet unsettling intrusion, in which disembodied voices emerge into the everyday soundscape, creating sensory, musical, and political disruptions.
Here, the voice is disembodied, anonymized, fragmented, and treated as raw sound material. Detached from its physical source, it circulates, transforms, and seeps into the interstices of urban space. It emerges where one least expects it, subverting the usual functions of sound systems to explore the relationship between voice, authority, control, and intimacy.

Lundja Medjoub
Lundja Medjoub is a designer, artist, and composer. She creates installations, performances, and electroacoustic compositions. Lundja Medjoub was born in 1992 in Ermont; she lives and works in Marseille. She graduated from the Saint-Étienne School of Art and Design with a degree in spatial design (2016) and then from the TALM School of Art and Design in Le Mans with a degree in sound design (2018). She created sound installations in collaboration with visual artists Joséfa Ntjam and Audrey Perzo, and then began her journey into theater alongside playwrights and directors such as Marine Bachelot Nguyen, Karima El Kharraze, and Penda Diouf. The staged reading *Soeurs* is her first work for the performing arts, and through it she is discovering an entirely new performance space.
Using sound, she weaves music between the words, brings foreign languages to life, and plays with the voices of the female authors on stage. Since then, the staging of sounds has become the primary arena for experimentation in his sound and visual art.
In Marseille, she composes electroacoustic music, works with a free improvisation group, and is an artist-in-residence at Artagon Marseille (2024–2025), where she is developing her artistic practice and pursuing her own projects.
His plays and installations have been presented in France at the 2022 Manifest Festival at the Centre Pompidou, Supersonique, and Art’o’rama Marseille, as well as at the CAC la Traverse in Alfortville and the Espace Camille Lambert in Juvisy. In 2023, she undertook a residency in Dubai with the French Institute of the United Arab Emirates, which led to the creation of a sound installation project exploring the voice of service in public spaces.
