The Totems of a New World exhibition looks at the influence of technology and social networks on our experiences of pleasure. Our identity is shaped by a constant dialogue between the material and digital worlds. Recommendation algorithms, by feeding our desires with an infinite stream of personalized stimuli, shape the reality of our desires.

The emerging artists supported by the halone association explore the repercussions of technology on our daily lives, through visual and digital artworks. In so doing, they aim to shed light on the way in which our physical being integrates with our digital alter ego, while raising our awareness of the issues at stake in our hyper-connected society.
