This5th edition kicks off in Aix-en-Provence with its most eagerly anticipated event: a nighttime tour of artworks in public spaces, featuring a free-roaming stroll through the streets of downtown. On Friday, October 30, and Saturday, October 31, from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., nine works—light installations, architectural projections, and video performances—will take over the city’s squares and building facades, from Roy René to La Madeleine, and from the Archbishop’s Palace to the Grand Théâtre de Provence. Kinetic sculptures, interactive projections, and performances without actors: digital art takes over public spaces to explore our imaginations, navigating themes of resistance, memory, and futures yet to be reinvented.
This event also marks the opening of five exhibitions hosted by cultural institutions in Aix-en-Provence. After attracting 45,000 visitors in 2024, these two free evenings—open to everyone—remain a must-see fall event in Aix-en-Provence.
