The installation brings together an ancient world that is fading away and a world that is as yet undefined, one that may emerge through listening and movement.
Seven ceramic sculptures inhabited by voices make up [Invu] ARCHIPEL. Their forms were created from the sound waves of the voices they emit. One remains stationary, in the centre; its voice gradually fades away. The other six can be touched, picked up, moved and brought closer together by the public. Their movements alter the soundscape and the flow of the voices through the space.
Melodies pass from one voice to another, shifting and transforming as they go. Little by little, a collective composition takes shape and opens up a shared space – at once fragile and powerful – where the bonds that are forged become a source of strength.
During certain performances, the singer Isabel Sörling joins the voices of the installation live.

A composer and audio artist, Clément Édouard focuses on the nature of sound, his field of vibration and his perception, and his relationship with natural places and materials to create listening experiences that are simultaneously imaginary, physical, internal… He fosters a unique relationship with the vocal and the subtle, and delves particularly into notions of lightness and intensity, of the presence/absence of natural/composed echoes. His approach looks like an exploration, which he indulges by discerning zones of shadow, identifying mysteries, and by mapping it out.
