“Between Past and Future” is an open-world video game consisting of several levels, set in desert landscapes inspired by Tunisia.
The player takes on the role of a fennec fox exploring an environment that is both poetic and unstable, where ecosystems are threatened by an invasion of locusts.
Through exploration, collection, and interaction with hybrid entities, the game offers a contemplative experience in which the narrative unfolds in fragments.

Born in 1992 in France, he lives and works in Tunisia.
Fredj Moussa studied at Le Fresnoy from 2021 to 2023. In 2024, he is an artist-in-residence at the Villa Medici in Rome.
His work lies at the intersection of film and sculpture. He creates landscapes in which fiction becomes a form of resistance. Through videos and costumes made from recycled materials, he creates speculative narratives that blur the lines between documentary and myth.
Fredj Moussa’s works have been featured in exhibitions such as the B7L9 Art Station in Tunis (Tunisia), the Selebe Yoon Gallery in Dakar (Senegal), and the Berlin Biennale (Germany), among others.
He will receive the CIFRA Award at LOOP Barcelona in 2023. In 2025, Fredj Moussa received the award for Best Experimental Documentary Film at the Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival (IDFF).
