Digital Camouflage is a garment designed to “fool” artificial intelligence systems that use computer vision to detect people. At first glance, it looks like a garment adorned with an abstract pattern, but it is actually a textile pattern specially created to confuse the object recognition algorithms used in surveillance, security, or autonomous systems.

The design is inspired by what is known as an “adversarial attack”: a method that involves manipulating the visual data received by a machine so that it cannot correctly recognize what is in front of it. When a person wears this garment, their body becomes “invisible” to the system: the algorithm is unable to detect the presence of a person.
